Abstract

The textbook gives an idea of the technical, legal, organizational and scientific foundations of ensuring the uniformity of measurements. Much attention is paid to terminology, new measurement units, the reference base of the Republic of Kazakhstan, legislation in the field of ensuring the uniformity of measurements, metrological support. The place of metrology in the system of science, interaction with other disciplines and sciences is considered. It is intended for students, as well as engineering and technical workers of qualified higher educational institutions, where the disciplines of certification, metrology and standardization are studied.
